Hi Stu,
Could you recommend any good reference book on CSS/JS for doing this image work. I'm writing various galleries for Lightroom and looking for something a little more customisable. I'm not simply going to take your work, which is excellent BTW!

Stu, Thanks for putting out this code. It's just what I need for the website photo gallery. I have about 45 images per gallery and one issue that I am running into has to do with the script's loading time. In order to start browsing through the images I have to wait a few minutes until all images are downloaded. Is there a way to allow viewing images even before the entire library is loaded? Thank you!

Stu,

Wonderful stuff, thank you !
I'm running OSX & Safari and am troubled by a minor inconsistency : working with the downloaded zip archive a thumbnail disappears as soon as it's chosen. Remarkably this does not happen when I view the live demo on your site. I can't find a solution. Any thoughts ?

Hi Stu,

Love the Left/Right Click Gallery. Just a question as I'm examining the code: What is the relevance of the <em> and <i> tags in each list item? I'm new-ish to CSS and Javascript and am unsure of why those elements are necessary as the contain nothing (at least in my untrained eyes). Thanks for the explanation as I find it much easier to learn when my "Why's" are answered by the pros.

Hi, I want to put several of the same gallery on one page and was wondering if that is possible and how that would work as cutting and pasting is not helping :D

Hello Stu-
Fantastic little gallery! Is there a way to start with fewer than 7 thumbnails showing? I tried to alter the java by replacing 7 with 4 (to start with just 4 thumbs) but it doesn't seem to work until I left click past the 7th image. Then the thumbs reduce by one with each click until there are only 4 showing.
