Darryl Butler:-
Gday Stu

Just examining your excellent gallery, as it solves something I've been trying to do. Very nice to see this.

I'm wondering why you have used the i and b tags around the images, could something else be used? Or am I missing something important?

cheers

Stu:-
i and b tags take up less space than spans and are valid within li tags.

Very nice gallery idea Stu, very nice.

Im just wondering how come the thumbnails in this design are just a stretched square representation of the fullsize picture? I quite liked the way you did the noscript gallery, where the thumbnail was a portion of the full size image. It was like those tv shows where you see a close up picture of something that you can't make out, then they zoom out and it all makes sense....

...still very nice work. No complaints!

Been trying diligently to get the thumbs to scroll as a single horizontal row...to no avail!
-Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for this! I've been looking for a simple gallery like this for a while.

Stu,
Very nice site and really slick code. I was Googling for info on "swap thumbnail for larger image" and found your site. Loaded the code, tweaked the file to my images and my client was super-satisfied!

The javascript galleries do not degrade. With javascript off they do not work ---- I tried them all with javascript turned off.
