Is there a way to have a section of the menu 'defaulted' so that it is always expanded upon open? I really like this script and am learning from it...just can't seem to make it start with a section expanded.

Hi Stu- Great Menu
If you look carefully the flyout menu's white borders seem to extend beyond the background. It's hard to see on the white background. I think it has to do with the text-indent 5px. If I remove it the flyout is fixed yet of course the text is far left. Is there another altenative.

The problem is with IE7. FF is fine
If you look to the right of the flyout you can barely see it.
Click on Classifications then Pelodryadinae.
With the flyouts you can barely see the line going through the senetence "There is large variation among tree frog species."

Hi Stu,

First of all let me start by saying that the demos from CSSPlay and this site have all been a great help to me.

I've tried to apply this demo together with the 'Fixed Layout 3' (www.cssplay.co.uk/layouts/body4.html) but am getting something strange. As soon as I click one of the items the UL around it grows a few pixels to the right. This happens in IE7. If I look at your example in my IE7 it all goes well, so it's related to using this together with the other layout.

I uploaded an example of what I mean here:

Just click on any heading on the left hand side to see what I mean.

Any idea what's going wrong there?

I am trying to make a vertical menu where a gif of a piano keyboard layed out vertically would have the menu text on the keys change color as you roll over each key and then when you click on the key it would look like the key was pressed down and the piano note for that key would sound and would take you to another page.
Do you have any menu already done that I could adapt to this or could you offer any ideas? I would appreciate any help with this.
