This gallery uses PHP to load all .jpg images from a named directory and add the necessary html markup so that CSS and jQuery can then take over and produce the thumbnail strip correctly dimensioned and the full size images, expanding the display area to fit.

You will need a copy of jQuery to be able to use this slideshow, and also the PHP routine which gets the image files.
