Multi page slide show

This demonstration has been taken from my CSS play site 'cross browser slide show' and answers all those who asked if it was possible to have the gallery page and image stay open when you move off the gallery.

The javascript monitors the mouse clicks and has nothing to do with the gallery styling which is all taken care of in the stylesheet.

You will, however, need to wait for the page to fully load before using the gallery.

This multi page gallery has the following features.

  1. Has a default gallery shown on page entry.
  2. Can be expanded to have as many pages as you like.
  3. Clicking a page number will keep that page on screen until another page number is clicked.
  4. Clicking a thumbnail image will show the full size image centrally on the screen area.
  5. Clicking the large image will shrink it back to a thumbnail.
  6. The full size image will stay selected when you click onto another page then return to the same page..

All this is achieved with just an unordered list and uses no links.

Tested IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari (PC) and Opera.
