This is the first of several galleries in this section, and the simplest. Just an unordered list of images.
If you have javascript running then all you need to do is click on any of the 'thumbnails' to see the actual full size image centrally positioned in the space to the left. The full size image will remain in place until you click another 'thumbnail' or reclick the same one which will then show the default image. I refer to them as 'thumbnails' but these are actually the full size images used as backgrounds for the list items, just positioned to select an interesting 50px x 50px area.
If you are concerned that visitors without javascript will not see your gallery then take a look at the same gallery with a 'noscript' option - simple_noscript.html

All the files, except the photographs which are copyright their various photographers, can be downloaded using the link below. If you are going to use this in your website then please respect my copyright and keep the credits in the stylesheets and javascript.
