I have been working on this menu on and off for a couple of months, but it is only with recent developments that I have been able to produce this simple version.

I thought that if you are going to use javascript to open and close menu items then instead of using 'hover', which can be a bit hit and miss if you accidentally move the mouse off the menu item, why not use mouse clicks to open all the sub menu items.

So this menu does just that. Click to open and click to close. It doesn't matter where you are in the menu structure you can click any 'open' item to change course.

This menu has six levels but it is easy to add more, just follow the sequence in the javascript.

I have used a simple stylesheet for this menu, but as each level has its own id it is possible to style each menu list in a unique way and place it anywhere on the page.

Tested in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari (PC).
