A vertical concertina menu based on my css only version which can be seen here.

This version uses javascript to read the li:hover stste and then write the style 'current' to that top level list ite. The stylesheet then does the rest of the work and styles the li.current state. This has the added benefit that it does not need the conditional comments for IE6 and that a selected tab will stay open when the mouse is moved away from the menu.

Tested in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera and Safari (PC).
